EDUC 2402 is a web-enhanced course
which introduces you to teaching as a profession and the school as an
organization through on-site observation and activities. This is
the second of four field experiences that you will complete before your
15-week apprenticeship teaching experience. The first two field
experiences are designed to provide a hands-on opportunity for you to
expand your knowledge base developed in Seminars in Professional
Practice I & II, and deepen your understanding of the
responsibilities of teachers, life in the school as a workplace, and
the factors involved in the daily functioning of schools and teachers
in their efforts to effectively teach and optimize learning in
performance of all students.
