Professional Standards for School Leaders
This page is devoted to
concepts and ideas that connect to the NJPSSL. The url to access the

The State of New Jersey adopted the ISLLC standards as their
professional standards for school leaders in 2004; and therefore, the
text is the same for both sets of standards. The New Jersey
Professional Standards for School Leaders are consisutent with the
vision. mission and underlying philosophy of the New Jersey Core
Content Curriculum Standards and the New Jersey Professional Standards
for Teachers. The FDU Master's Porgram in Educational Leadership was
founded on the acceptance of and belief in the vision that the NJPSSL
establishes for school leaders.
