I am a first grade teacher at Roosevelt School in Hawthorne, New Jersey.  I have been teaching first grade for 18 years. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from William Paterson University in 1975.  I started my teaching career in Ridgewood, New Jersey and in 1976 began teaching for the Hawthorne Public School System.  

I have been happily married for 29 years and I have two children. My husband owns his own milk distributing business.  My 24 year old daughter  graduated from Bucknell University in 2003 and is currently working as an accountant for Price Waterhouse Coopers in NYC.  My 19 year old son is a PGM major at Penn State University.  

I enjoy traveling, reading, swimming and spending time with my family.  I am currently enrolled in FDU's Master of Arts in Education program.
