During the Summer of 2005, I took the last of two courses I needed to complete my Masters of Art in Teaching requirement. I chosed to talk Internet for Educators. This course is designed to help teachers set up our own websites. I chosed to build a website that will be of use to my future classroom. I wanted a website that would be fun for my students to use. As well as useful for thier parents. I hope that I have accomplished my goal.
During the course of the class, we had several assingments. One of which was an essay on "The Role of the Internet in Education" . In short, I believe that the internet has changed our world dramatically. It has opened my doors to the worlds of education, science, technology, medicine, and every other subject one wishes to learn about.
Another assingment dealt with websites that are out there for teachers to use. I have two favorite websites which I find are both fun for students to use and helpful for planning lessons. There are also great activities which can be implemented in one's own classroom. The first website is Edhelper.com
