Hi my name is Carrie Metzler, I am a second grade teacher at Washington School, Hawthorne, NJ. I have been teaching for three years.  Currently I am enrolled in the masters of education program at FDU.   For my undergraduate degree I attend William Paterson University.  I attended Hawthorne Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade and I enjoy teaching in a district that I attended. 

I have a "typical" family, my parents have been married for 35 years, I have two older brothers, who are both married, 2 nephews and a niece on the way!
