Professional Development Plan

Goal:

      I will a better understanding of individual and group motivation and behavior and shall create a supportive safe and respectful environment that encourages the student to work collaborate and independently.

     Standard Six: Learning Environment. Teachers shall understand individual and group motivation and behavior and shall create a supportive, safe and respectful learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning and self-motivation.

Objective:
     I will design activities that enable students to assume responsibility for themselves and one another, participate in decision making and work collaborate and independently.

Activity:
1. design learning stations for students to work independently and collaborate as art of my interdisciplinary unit
2. Group work will include a self evaluation sheet
