Welcome to the Quick Start Page of the School of Education's EdFolio Portal. We hope the information you find below will assist you in developing your EdFolio
site. If you have any recommendations or ideas to share, you can post
them in the discussion section below.
Developing a worthy website is hard work and although it is difficult,
it is obviously not impossible. The idea is to do it so well that
people will continue to return to your site. An EdFolio site may have a
captive audience since students may be "required" to visit, but that is
not a reason to skimp on making it as worthy as possible. Placing work
on the Internet is often an intimidating process for many. The two
articles below address technical writing for the web specifically, but
there are plenty of worthy ideas for everyone interested in providing
content to a defined audience via the Web. I think you will find them a
valuable resource.

To learn how to develop your EdFolio site, visit the EdFolio Quick Start page or the Step-by-Step EdFolio tutorial page.
The Quick Start
files are small, defined instructions that are designed
to lead the user to answers about specific components of
developing an EdFolio site. To complete the
instructions and learn the complete site development
process sequentially, read and work with the guides in the order
they are presented.
The Step- by-Step tutorial is more of a hands-on approach with referenced files and activities.
Should you have any questions, use the discussion section at the bottom of the Quick Start or Step-by-Step pages and we will try to assist you. We hope you have great success in developing your EdFolio site.
Other technology guides/tutorials are available at Jeff Ross's EdFolio site.
