About Me
My name is Brandon Sharkey and I am a graduate student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I obtained my B.A. in American History during the spring 2009 semester, and will be receiving my M.A.T. in Elementary Education after the spring 2010 semester. I enjoy working with students as I have been substituting at Deerfield Township School for the past four years. I have always wanted to follow in my father's footsteps of being a teacher and look forward to having a classroom of my own one day.
Outside of school I enjoy coaching, watching, and playing sports. I have been a huge sports fan my entire life and I enjoy passing on that enthusiasm to younger athletes. In high school I received MVP honors for my play in baseball, at the end of the season I was offered an opportunity to play baseball for University of Central Florida. Instead of going away to college and pursuing a career in baseball, I decided to stay local and pursue a career in education.
