Hello! My name is Sabrina Simon and I am aspiring teacher attending Fairleigh Dickinson University. I created this website to correspond with the course Computers as a Teacher's Aid and hope to use it to convey who I am and what I hope to accomplish in the world of education.

In May 2008 I received an Associate's Degree in Education with a concentration in Art from Burlington County College. I have a passion for art and working with my hands. I have many ideas for incorporating creative projects in my future classroom! 

I am currently a senior in FDU's QUEST BA/MAT program. I will graduate in May 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. After that, I hope to garner a job teaching in an elementary school. Ultimately, I would love to teach fourth grade!

This semster (Fall 2009), I am working on my third Field Experience, in a third grade classroom at Delran Intermediate School. I am having fun in the school and am learning a lot. I cannot wait to teach my first lesson in a few weeks!

So far, I have completed two other Field Experiences: in a third grade classroom at DIS and in a fourth grade classroom at Riverside Elementary School. I have also served as a volunteer and substitute at Tots Cooperative Nursery School in Delran, NJ.

In addition to being a full-time student, I am the mother of a four year old. I love to read, cook, and spend time outdoors hiking and camping.
