My name is Rosina Siniscalchi. I have completed a Master of Arts in Education program at Fairleigh Dickinson University with a special concentration in Reading and Literacy.
Through the observation of children and their reading behaviors I became more curious about the most effective ways to teach reading. According to Marie Clay, 80% of children learn to read regardless of the teacher's methodology. My lifelong pursuit is in reaching "the others".

WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!
I believe that all children can learn. It is my responsibility to provide the knowledge, support, and enthusiasm necessary to develop individualistic insight and productive paths to the knowledge provided in the classroom.
I am committed to creating an active, upbeat, stimulating, and democratic classroom environment where each child is given the opportunity to grow intellectually and emotionally. We are open-minded life long learners whose confidence and ebullience will make us productive citizens in our society.
MS. SINISCALCHI

A community of learners is a school whose defining, underlying culture is one of learning. The condition for membership is that one learn, continue to learn, and support the learning of others.
