This assignment has touched based on the standards for professional teaching. In particular I would like to focus on standard eight for communication. I believe that this assignment will help me communicate not only with my students, but as well as other teachers, administrators, parents and the school as a whole. This task has also required me to use graphics that are appropriate for the topic of choice. I think using these graphics will help me better communicate with students as English as a second language. Using these flyers, I can include and welcome parents to special events. Overall, communication is an important key in having a successful classroom and this activity will aide in my future success.

Reflection for this Assignment:
This assignment, similar to the first, has given me a new tool in which I can communicate with students, the school and parents. I am very excited to use the program because of the various possibilities it give me to communicate- through newsletters, flyers, calendars and so much more. Communication is an important key to success and this task helps me communicate in a variety of ways that demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, linguistic, gender and social differences. This task has supported standard number eight for communication for professional teachers.

Reflection for Assignment:
This assignment enables me to communicate to fellow teachers, parents and students to which websites I feel are appropriate and helpful to them. I can also use these websites as part as class activities. If students need more time reading an article or participating in an online activity, they can continue the work online at home. In addition to that, I can also use these websites as a reference to what I am teaching in class. It a parent wants to help they're child further in a subject, I can give them one of these websites to help them at home.

This assignment had met standard ten for professional development. As a professional teacher, I need to organize the progress of my students and be able to present this progress to parents and school administration. This task not only benefits me in organizing student grades, it enables me to give weights to certain tasks/quizzes/tests according to my own grading scale.

This assignment has met standard 10 for professional development. I researched articles that would help me learn new techniques for using technology successfully in the classroom. As a teacher I must keep up to date on software to tools that I can use in the classroom. These articles not only gave me suggestion on how to use the technology but how to obtain the tools I need for my lessons.

Reflection for Assignment:
This assignment has met standard number two for human growth and development. This assignment required me to use a power point presentation during my lesson. Since my students will acquire knowledge through different strategies, using a Power Point slideshow will help those students who are visual learners. In addition to this, the assignment has met standard four for instructional planning and strategies. My lesson asks students to discuss their prior knowledge on the topic of NASA. After that, I was to enhance their knowledge with the Power Point slideshow. Therefore, students built upon what they already knew about the topic with my lesson.
